Since June 2022, Eduardo Luersen has been a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Zukunftskolleg, affiliated with the Department of Literature, Art and Media at the University of Konstanz. He holds a PhD in Communication Sciences granted in 2020 by Unisinos University (Brazil), and was a member of the Gamification Lab at Leuphana University in 2019. His current project, Cloud Gaming Atlas: from Earth's metabolism to the longing for radiant infrastructures is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science as part of the Excellence Strategy of the German Federal and State Governments. With this project, he seeks to research the intersections of digital media infrastructures and the living environment, with a deep interest in conceptualizing the paradoxes, continuities and interstices between technology and nature, energy systems and environmental policies in telecommunication infrastructure projects.
